A kiss from the wind,
I tremble and linger
then slip on the breath of the breeze.
I'm floating adrift,
the soft undulations
of air's all that's under my feet.
I drift as fallen leaves
on the whim of autumn's breeze.
I run down nameless streets
trampling hours beneath my feet.
I float upon the sea,
let the waves lull me to sleep.
I stare into the sky,
watch the clouds as they pass me by.
I fall like morning's fog
sinking down from its place above.
I lie upon the ground
with only shadows as a shroud.
